Sharrow Bay For Me No Way
I booked to be fair via laterooms.
On laterooms it stated my room was a junior suite for 2 adults one child. On arrival I was informed my room was 500 metres away from reception by the main gate so to have a meal or drink or breakfast the following day would mean walking 500 metres each way. Lake District although beautiful mostly raining and the dress code stated is elegantly beautiful. Am sure the girls dressed up for evening meal would be happy walking down a road to the hotel blowing a gale in high heels. The atmosphere you could cut with a knife it was a kin to a nursing home. Quiet no conversation people giving you the once over. We was shown through for our evening meal and sat in a corner which was the only corner in the hotel with no lights working and no- one else in it till we had our sweet. separate dining room well lit and full??. The food outstanding compliments to the chef but this hotel lets him down in a big way. By the way readers my junior suite was a cottage divided into 4 rooms so basically 8 people plus in same house like living in a flat. No rooms are plus one as children not allowed I was informed.
A Splendid Experience
It is not possible to improve on perfection.
