Do not visit on a saturday
we stayed for a short break on a friday and saturday night in an executive sea facing room.
the hotel is very warm and we neeed to keep the windows open. This was not an issue until saturday night. There is a bar in their basement that plays extremely loud music which kept us awake until late even though we were situated on the 3rd floor. This spoilt our stay. I would suggest people consider this if a booking includes a saturday night.
Returned to the island first visiting in 1968.
Stayed very near original hotel on loch promanade. Delighted with hotel. Front sea view room lovely, food good quality. Bit noisy first night from bar next door but overall lovely stay.
