looks can be deceiving.

When we arrived we were surprised to find a post-it note with a key and a room number, no welcome.

We never saw anyone until breakfast time. Room, bedding and towels were very tired room needed decorating. Bathroom looked as if it had been newly renovated so I was surprised to see rusty bathroom accessories and a thick layer of dust behind the bathroom door.

Absolutely appalling

I should have realised that things were not going to be good when on entering the property there was a duvet cover hanging over the radiator by the front door.

On being shown to the room I was distracted by the fact that the door was difficult to shut when the owner left. On closer inspection the room is probably a fire hazard. There was an extension lead box perched on a low stool with the flex going to a broken wall socket, the TV was plugged into the extension lead but did not work. There was a basin in the room but no hot water, drawers of chest were dirty, cobwebs on ceiling, bathroom (which was shared) was unbelievable - shower unit was patched with silicone, shower barely acceptable, rusty patch on front of radiator, no plug in basin. Furniture was extremely battered and shabby, headboard fabric was dirty. I am ashamed to say I was too tired after travelling from Cornwall to Glasgow that day, that I did not complain until after breakfast the following morning. I would not recommend this to anyone.
