A Fantastic Hotel with Exceptional Staff

This hotel is absolutely fantastic and in my opinion completely faultless.

My partner and I booked into the hotel for three night stay from Friday 20th March to Sunday 22nd March inclusive. This was our second time to stay at the hotel having enjoyed a previous three night stay in July 2014. The purpose of our visit was a city break combined with a relaxing spa weekend and this is just what we had. On arrival we were greeted by Jimmy the concierge who immediately could not do enough to help and assist us. He was so friendly and immediately made conversation as if he knew us. This made us feel welcome immediately and he is a credit to the hotel as guests first impressions are, as always, lasting impressions. We spoke with Jimmy at various times throughout our stay and his helpful, easily approachable personality remained consistent throughout. He is an extremely professional and helpful member of the concierge team.

Our room was most impressive. It was spotless throughout and furnished to an extremely high standard. We were allocated room 1215 which had an outstanding view of Manchester City. So superb was the view that we spent hours during our stay simply sat in the window gazing out. We had reason to ring room service on one occasion to request an ice bucket and two wine glasses which were brought to the room immediately without delay. Our room was serviced to an exceptionally high standard throughout our stay and we would also like to comment on how professional and friendly the room attendant was. Unfortunately we did not get her name but her standard of cleaning should be commended. During our stay we had dinner in the Steak and Lobster restaurant on two separate occasions. The staff in general within the restaurant provided exceptional service however I would particularly like to mention Ashley and Darius. Ashley immediately impressed us as she remembered my partner and I from our visit in July 2014. We were so surprised by this as it was only our second time at the hotel and clearly showed her dedication to the guests and making them feel welcome. My partner mentioned to Ashley that we are due to marry in September this year and she immediately disappeared only to re-appear with a plate decorated in chocolate sauce with the word 'congratulations' along with two pieces of cake. This was far above and beyond what we would have expected and I feel Ashley is an asset to the hotel. She is a credit to Radisson and she deserves recognition for her fantastic customer service. We would also like to commend Darius; he went out of his way to make our stay special from his friendly conversations to his outstanding customer care and attention to detail. On our final night at the hotel, after informing Darius we were about to leave he presented us with two glasses of fizz along with half strawberries. This was such a nice gesture and once again my partner and I felt treated as royalty by this member of staffs commendable attitude to customer care. Darius also deserves recognition for his high standards and professional approachable attitude. He is also a credit to this hotel and thanks to Ashley and Darius particularly my partner and I have now booked an additional two nights at the hotel in September following our wedding night as we cannot think of a better way to spend our special time. Finally on to the Spa. This hotel boasts one of the most beautiful health suites I have ever been fortunate enough to visit. The standards of hygiene are exceptionally high and we have never felt so relaxed and at ease. We would like to mention Vicky who once again remembered us from our last visit and always showed us a friendly welcome and Cathy who provided by partner with an outstanding treatment which he thoroughly enjoyed and cant wait to book again. In summary this hotel comes highly recommended by us as it’s a five star hotel with five star members of staff. Whilst everyone in this hotel could not do enough for us we have to reiterate that we were completely blown away by the exceptional service of Ashley particularly and Darius. They did not have to do what they done but what they did do will always be remembered by us and made our stay magical. Well done Radisson - keep up the good work and we look forward to staying with you in September 2015.

The service was absolutely perfect, there was even an upgrade to a city view room for an issue that was no fault of the hotel at all.

Couldn't fault anything at all quite honestly.
