Having stayed in this Novotel many times, basically because of its convenience to Long Eaton.
I put up with the clean but very dated room, wow what a makeover. The newly refurbished sleeping areas are now 4 star, very comfortable, big tv, walk in shower and very impressive. Food, however was disappointing, dinner very bland, fresh fruit at breakfast discoloured etc.
Excellent value for money
We have stayed here before when the hotel was in need of a facelift.
Newly refurbished bedrooms are larger than Travelodge/Premier Inn and nicer for a similar price. The restaurant is in need of a facelift but I am sure that will be part of the upgrade programme. Breakfast very good. Staff all very pleasant. Would stay again.
