About the hotel
Marion & Peter welcome you to their home the "unique" Goodwin House. Built by the mayor of kesick in 1891, this red bricked building stands out from the rest. Quality produce are used in our substantial breakfasts , which will help set you up for the day , but if you would prefer a lighter option , not a problem. Served in our beautiful breakfast room dominated by a fabulous original marble fireplace. Everything in the town is within walking distance, centre 2 mins, lake shore 4 mins, theatre 4 mins, the town centre has plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafes and wine bars so something to suit as well as the retails outlets. We could not fault the accommodation or breakfast.
Marion made us very welcome and provided masses of useful information.
Our room was quite small, and shower was not very powerful but apart from that it was a lovely experience.
It was perfectly clean with plenty of extras including the bowls of fruit which we enjoyed in our arrival. Good position to explore the town, and our host, Marion, was wonderful.
