Not a good experience
Evening meal was Large Haddock & Chips - I have never seen such a small "large" haddock served up.
I mentioned it to the waitress who agreed - but nothing more said. The room I was put in was directly over the bar on Quiz night. - there were other rooms free, so I can't understand why they would do this. The shower wouldn't work - was told the next morning it was broken the previous week by a "young couple" and waiting to be fixed. No mention of this when I checked in. I couldn't get a channel on the TV - so had to settle to listening to the Quiz through the ceiling. The shelf in the bathroom wasn't there - but they had left the metal brackets on the wall. When I bent down to pick something up I cut my head on one of them. The room was also at the front on a fairly noisy main road - could hear all the traffic through the windows. All in all - not good. Cannot recommend anyone to stay there. On a positive note the breakfast was good & when I complained they didn't charge me for the meal...but too little too late
Basic accommodation but clean, breakfast good.
We were locked out of the hotel at 12.25 (10 to 15 mins) and had to shout to somebody to let us in. An apology would have been nice.(Customer service would have been 6 as the lady we saw when we checked in was very efficient and helpful)
