Fantasic Customer service from Gordon
When I arrived I found the Information regarding getting my key etc was spot on.
Once inside I have a slight problem with my radiator not working and contacted the Groundskeeper Gordon who was there within a couple of minutes. He was fantasic and fixed my issue right away but also gave me some much history on the Hall which was really intersting. He is a great ambassador for this site and has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area and where to eat etc. He left me by saying himself and his wife were only a cottage away should I need anything which was satisfying to know.Would definately stay here again and huge thanks to Gordon
Salmesbury Lodge Room 1 - The Lodge
Excellent accomodation, with two good sized bedrooms and one shared very large bathroom.
Facilities are in great condition. The lounge is comfy, with full size TV. You need to accept the building is old and not so well kept outside, but this adds to the character. Inside everything is great. Only a short walk to a fabulous Italian restaurant, and about a mile walk to a nice country pub. There is no restaurant or bar at the hall. But this was not a problem.
