We stayed at the Gate House for one night following a wedding reception at another venue.
The house was tastefully decorated and everything had been done to make our stay comfortable. I was even telephoned in the morning to check breakfast arrangements. The house did have quite a lot of traffic noise though if it was used by only two people the bedroom is not against the road. The grounds are lovely and the dinning room in the main Hall is great place to have breakfast.
Fantasic Customer service from Gordon
When I arrived I found the Information regarding getting my key etc was spot on.
Once inside I have a slight problem with my radiator not working and contacted the Groundskeeper Gordon who was there within a couple of minutes. He was fantasic and fixed my issue right away but also gave me some much history on the Hall which was really intersting. He is a great ambassador for this site and has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area and where to eat etc. He left me by saying himself and his wife were only a cottage away should I need anything which was satisfying to know.Would definately stay here again and huge thanks to Gordon
