Local pub with lovely local people
The room standards may be the more your basic B&B than hotel, but the welcome from the staff (and the locals) was wonderful.
It is a great base for touring to Kielder, Hexham and Hadrians wall. Evening meals are good value and breakfasts hearty.
Really enjoyable, friendly pub stay - made welcome by all we met in the Gun
Couldn't do enough for us, wouldn't hesitate to go back for another visit.
