Low Fotherley Farm is an attractive Victorian farmhouse, providing the very best in English Bed and Breakfast. We are a working farm of just over 200 acres mainly sheep.
With outstanding views we are located in the beautiful Northumberland countryside between Kiln Pit Hill and Riding Mill on the main A68 tourist route from England to Scotland. The local attractions of Hexham, Corbridge, Hadrian's Wall, Beamish Open Air Museum, historic Durham City and indoor shopping at The Metro Centre Gateshead, are all a short drive away. Newcastle with its International airport is 20 minutes away. The Northumberland coast with Alnwick castle and gardens, including Lindisfarne island are within an hours drive.
There are a number of good local pubs and restaurants serving traditional food within an easy driving distance. We offer you a taste of traditional English country life with comfortable accommodation and an excellent breakfast.
Accommodation consists of a twin room with en-suite, two double bedrooms one with en-suite and one with private facilities. All bedrooms have full central heating, flat screen television with freeview, tea and coffee making facilities, electric blankets, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers.
