Worst stay in a hotel i have had
Could not get to the reception ,which is behind the bar because there was a football match on, had to squeeze through , felt uncomfortable, Booked a twin room as there were 2 males on a biking trip , was given a double, think they did that as a joke.
Went to the bar assuming they served supper at the place asked the guy and his response was "we don't serve supper" he never offered suggestions on where to go. Beds need replacing(I could feel the springs and im not a heavy guy) ,
Had to sneak into the kitchen and get our own milk for breakfast because we could not find anyone in the morning this was almost 30 min after we asked to have our breakfast. almost considered making out own breakfast. So not great at all, would not recommend
Great place to stay ...
I had booked into this place as it was a cheaper option compared to a lot of other accommodation offered in the area, and, although it wasn't what I would call posh - it was basic - it offered me all I needed for the night.
Breeakfast was great, and the chefs couldn't have been more obliging ... infact, all the staff were excellent.. My only complaints are that the bedside lamp had no bulb in it, and that the horrible pink stair carpet was a bit stained: other than that, it was perfect.
