About the hotel

NO STAGS, HENS OR CLUBBERS - Please book somewhere else! Neither we nor our guests want late-night disruption so our doors are now locked at 1. 00 am. After that there is NO ADMITTANCE so you will have to stay somewhere else anyway - may as well book it now! (This is relaxed during obvious events such as Dance Competitions, Conferences, Rebellion Festival, etc.

) Located adjacent to the Winter Gardens/Opera House complex means you are within easy walking distance of most of Blackpool's attractions including the Promenade, Hounds Hill Shopping Centre, all theatres, Funny Girls, an array of restaurants, and of course the famous Blackpool Tower. We have LIMITED ON-SITE PARKING (more than anyone else in this location) which we regret cannot be reserved or guaranteed - it is simply on a first come basis. Keys for all cars parked on-site must be deposited with Reception in case of emergency. There is also a surface car park right opposite our front door. Taking a holiday shouldn't mean going through "cold turkey", so if you want a SMOKING ROOM then let us know - there is a small surcharge of just £3 per smoking room. However, please be aware that in consideration to others, NON-SMOKING ROOMS are strictly just that! Excluding obvious events, if you are a predominantly single sex group of more than 6 people we will not accept the reservation without prior consent and will cancel your booking without refund, even on arrival! (And please don't try booking 'sub-groups' of 6 to make up your party!). FAMILY ROOMS CANNOT BE BOOKED SOLELY FOR ADULTS. If in doubt - please ckeck with us. DINNER is only available at certain times of the year but a BAR-SNACK menu is available. You are welcome to bring in takeaway meals which can be eaten in a convenient room (NOT in the Bar!) - we will even provide you with utensils (and a bag to clear up after!).

Beside the Winter Gardens

Pleasant, clean hotel which deliberately avoids stag and hen parties, so although they were full it was quiet.

The hotel consists of several buildings combined, so there are lots of doors and small runs of stairs which might be an issue for older folk. There is a lift, which is helpful. Very close to the Winter Gardens so ideal for dance competitions that finish late and start early. Only minor disappointment was breakfast. I had mentioned in the 'special needs' box that both my husband and I are vegetarian, and this was picked up and remarked on when we booked in. There was an option on the breakfast menu that was ok for us (beans on toast) - but I think I've been spoiled by the hotel I usually use, who always provide a brilliant veggie version of a 'full English' breakfast.

Excellent can't wait to go back

On arrival the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Any queries we had the staff were more than happy to help. Was quiet which was just what we wanted no loud parties waking us up. The hotel car park was full but there was a big car park directly over the road that was great. Also the hotel was right near Blackpool tower so easy to find and then have a nice walk along the main strip. Would definitely stay in this hotel again when we go to Blackpool very good value for money.
