About the hotel
At The Sea Lynn Morecambe we recognise that your break needs to feel like a break, after a great nights sleep in comfortable rooms you can sit back whilst we prepare you a freshly cooked breakfast of your choice using the best of ingredients, locally sourced where possible including free range eggs, delicious sausages and great quality bacon and homemade Jam and marmalade. Just add breakfast on arrival. Morecambe is famous for its stunning views and sunsets, which can be enjoyed from the breakfast room or by strolling the short distance to the promenade, you won't be short of things to do.
Come and see Morecambe's historic buildings, such as the newly restored art deco Midland Hotel and the Victorian Winter Gardens preservation project. Experience the blend of old and new, where reminders of the heyday of British seaside holidays remain alongside golden beaches, sea bird sculptures, a Lake District Mountain Panorama, and stylishly paved promenade. Of course a day out in Morecambe is not complete without having your picture taken at the statue of Eric Morecambe, much loved half of the famous comedy double act Morecambe & Wise. Within easy reach of the town is the delightful village of Heysham, as well as Heysham ferry port with daily departures to Isle of Man. Why not visit nearby historic Lancaster for some sight seeing, shopping? Or you can join a tour of its ancient castle, which has fascinating history and is still a working court. Slightly further a field is Carnforth with its delightfully nostalgic railway station which is the location for the cult film 'Brief Encounter'. You can still catch a steam train here or visit the famous refreshment room with award winning Visitor Centre. Further still but in easy reach is the beautiful Lake District. Here you can have a relaxing cruise around Windermere, shop or just take in the amazing views. Why not book in and let us spoil you. We are sure you won't be disappointed. Regards Lesley and Ro

Lovely place to stop
One of the best places I have visited, The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was excellent, They were very friendly and helpful.
I would recommend The Sea Lynn to anybody
Pleasant, clean and very friendly
Situated down a side road off the main promenade, a short walk away from the main drag of pubs and activity, this guest house (one of pretty much all the houses down the street) was lovely and quiet during the night.
Within an hour of booking i received an email from Lesley and Rob thanking me for booking with them and saying they were looking forward to meeting, which i thought was a nice touch. It also gave me a point of direct contact, something i found useful shortly before travelling. I had originally booked a twin room as i was going with a friend, but he had to drop out on the thursday prior (family illness) and on letting Lesley know this she said she would change the room to a double so i would have a large bed to myself. Another nice touch.I
I was greeted on arrival by Lesley who was very pleasant and interested in why i was in Morecombe (for the football as it happened!). She took me to my room which was perfectly adequate, with a large double bed, a small lounge area, TV and en-suite shower room and toilet. The room was very clean and tidy. I was also pleased with the fact that as the room was booked cheaply through Laterooms the breakfast should not have been included, but as my reservation stated it was Lesley was happy to honour it. On the note of breakfast the full English was more than adequate to set you up for the day, well cooked by Rob, and i would recommend trying the home made preserves, especially the marmalade which was delicious. I would also recommend reading the information pack left in the room as i found it full of useful and interesting stuff, including a brief history of how Lesley and Rob came to be running a Guest house in Morecombe. Overall, even though just the one nights stay, i would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a basic stay, with lovely hosts looking to go the extra mile in making sure their guests are looked after, and i will definitely book there again should i ever be looking to stay over in Morecombe in the future.
