The building itself was originally an Old Coaching Inn and is over 300 years old. The Inn is ran by Kay and she offers a warm welcome to all guests. There are ten en suite bedrooms, four doubles, five twins and a family room which can sleep four people. We are located 3 miles west from Durham City where you can visit the wonderful Cathedral and Castle or stroll along the banks of the River Wear. Good cheap accomdation
Lovely home cream of chicken soup Friday Night.
We had a problem with room as had a damp patch near the bathroom so landlady moved us on the following night,
Rooms were basic but OK clean and tidy, Décor was a bit dated but not a problem for the price. Overall a good cheap place to stay.
