Lovely little hotel in pretty village close to Oxford.
Friendly staff and an excellent room. Quality and choice of food first class
Booked a room that clearly said shower and we were in a room with only a bath.
I was initially told we couldn't swap but once I showed the email, suddenly swapping was fine. For some reason, neither guest had decided to go into room 7 instead of 8 so we had to swap. Whilst not their fault, the fact that keys open more than one room is worrying. Staff were quite rude on a couple of occasions, especially at breakfast when the lady serving us snapped at me when I asked about tea, having been sat at the table for over 5 minutes without seeing a single member of staff. The rooms are listed as being freshly renovated, which they look like they have but the bathroom quality and cleanliness is fairly awful. The toilet seat was broken and dirty and the show pole fell off the wall... Won't be coming back.
