Really good for the price

Overall I was very pleased with my stay at the Trinity in Hull.

I just needed somewhere to rest my head after visiting a friend and this place was ideal. For an exceedingly good price I had a BIG room with a stone fireplace and all required facilities. Everything was as clean as I would expect in this price-range and the check-out time of 11am even allowed me to sleep in a little.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and the Dark Fruits cider on tap at the bar an unexpected treat for me. Oh and a few games of pool in the bar before bedtime also helped my stay. The hotel even had monitored off-street parking. The only things I can really fault were all related to the shower. The shower-head really needed some of the limescale removing or the head replacing, and the shower only reached lukewarm. However, with it being a hot, sunny day, lukewarm was suitable.

Even with those niggles, I'd happily come back, especially when their new "American Diner" opens which they were painting up during my stay. Looked good!

Fine for a quick stay, there was a leaky tap, the bed was very squeaky and the tv was tiny.

If just staying for one night would be fine, would not recommend for a long stay.
