Glass and iron columns in our lobby emulate local Tyneside styles with a modern twist, and artwork in our guest rooms depicts our history. Relax in Grainger Lounge with craft ale brewed specially for the hotel before a meal in our locally inspired restaurant, where guests and locals alike enjoy cuisine and live music.
We’re near the railway station, Grainger Market, and Sage Gateshead Arts Centre, and our team is passionate about sharing the best of our neighborhood’s nightlife, theatre and art scene.

Hotel Indigo NEWCASTLE
Lovely central hotel.
Staff so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Room was ok, modern and quite clean.
Breakfast could have been better and upset to not have been offered extras from kitchen although we heard others were. The Car park is atrocious, spaces far too tight, no idea how some people got in/out of their cars. We were blocked in when leaving and took about 10 attempts to get out of space. Not happy after paying £12 to park. This should be better monitored by hotel and would put me off returning to this hotel.
Dear Kelly A,
Thank you for being our guest and for taking the time to share your comments. It is nice to hear that you were satisfied with our hotel's amenities. However, we regret to know that your stay would have been perfect had it not been for your experience with the parking situation and for that, we offer our sincere apology. We will definitely share your comment with management to help us improve our services and to continue delivering a good stay experience.
We look forward to welcoming you back the next time you are in the area.
