Comfortable, clean and tidy

I arrived later than planned (9.15pm) due to traffic jams and diversions hoping to get something to eat and was told the kitchen closed at 8.30pm, but I was asked for my breakfast order on checking in, not so good when hungry.

Fortunately, my well prepared partner had packed some snacks for the journey 'just in case' so I didn't starve.

My room was comfortable, clean and tidy, had a plentiful supply of tea and biscuits, towels and complementary toiletries which was a nice touch. My room was above the bar and it was a little noisy, but that didn't last and I was able to get a good night's sleep. It was a little chilly that night and the central heating wasn't on, but an electric heater was provided which quickly warmed the room up making it nice and cosy. I had ordered breakfast for 7.30am and when I came down a table was already set for me with orange juice and a pot of tea, shortly followed by a delicious full English breakfast, just right to set me up for the long day ahead. I would stay at the Farmer's Arms again if in the area.
