not so peaceful
Mix up with bookings, rude email, nobody to wecome guests.
Unkempt outside, broken sign, front door lock broken hard to open, kitchen messy and place smelt of old cigarette smoke and old aftershaftershave, clean but crumpled bed linen, noise from other guests talking at 4am. Could be a great house but unwelcoming and frayed round the edges
Warm, comfortable and peaceful
Reachable by local bus from the center of Reykjavik this is a lovely house in a very peaceful area backing onto school grounds and ten minutes walk from a good supermarket.
We stayed the week though most used it as a one night stay. Hiring a car we had some great days out exploring the amazing countryside. We intended feeding ourselves anyway but the option for a breakfast is not there and should have been removed from the booking info. The very friendly Polish lady who house keeps also works else where so can not feed people.
