100% would recommend it to a friend
What a wonderful location, right on the lake beside the ferry. The restaurant is very reasonably priced, the food amazing. Lovely helpful staff. Really liked being able to prepare our own breakfast, we had an early start. There's a breakfast room serving full English breakfasts which. If it's as good as last night's meal, will not disappoint.
Good quality room for a hostel
The private room was a fairly standard size and contained a sink and a double bed with a single bunk above it.
The mattress was actually extremely comfortable. The staff warmly greeted us and we're very helpful with any questions that we had. The bar was pleasant and although we did not eat the food looked good. The only downside to the trip was the fact our room was directly opposite the shared toilets and shower and therefore in the mornings it was incredibly noisy and both mornings we got woken up and struggled to get back to sleep as the foot traffic and noise was almost constant from about 06:30. That being said it is a hostel and it was clean and reasonably priced so I would recommend it.
