Right in heart of Venice
Great location in heart of Venice.
Breakfast bery average. Great instructions given by owner to find apartment and appreciated being able to leave bags after checkout on final day. Decor and bed spread etc very dated - it felt like I was staying in grandmothers spare room!. Was bit strange on last day we were asked to relinquish our keys one hour before the check out time when we were still using the room. The person working at time didn't speak English so we couldn't communicate with them - have never been asked to give my keys over before we have checked out before. I think it was because the next couple using room had arrived and they wanted to give them the keys but we didn't think this was appropriate - what if we wanted to leave room and come back as room was still booked and paid for us at that stage!!!
Only for young adults
This B&B is a third floor (fourth floor in American terms) walk up a narrow and steep set of stairs.
Rooms are basic, as is the continental breakfast. There is a small common area, but it is not comfortable for guests. It's only use seemed to be to prepare breakfast trays. There was absolutely no tourist information available, not even a simple map of Venice. The owner was "on vacation", but answering his mobile phone for any emergency. The cleaner was a very nice Italian woman who also prepared breakfast trays. Unfortunately, she spoke only Italian.
