About the hotel

The Waterfront is a Historic Grade II listed building over 400 years old with exceptional views over the river. An award winning Steak and Seafood Restaurant with en suite rooms ideally situated above. The location is ideal for the centre of York and all its Touristic attractions.

There really is no need to spend money on taxi's here! Being in the heart of the city, noise is to be expected from the night goers in the streets below. The rooms are best suited for those young at heart, not the place for a quiet weekend away

A good value room in a great central location

When we arrived we were given the option of a room with a view but with the potential to be noisy during the Friday evening, or a quieter room with no view at all.

We chose the room with no view but as we were out all day this was not an issue at all but meant we did not have to worry about any noise there might be later on the Friday evening.

Expensive for what it is...comfy bed though

The room was basic but it was fine if you're not planning to spend a lot of time there.

It was expensive for what it was. Just a room and bathroom!
