Value for money
Had an enjoyable stay in a lovely light spacious room with large bed and gorgeous views, unlike some of our previous late room bookings in other locations where we found ourselves in very dark/small rooms.
Took advantage of the free spa facilities in the pool with a view. A very pleasant hotel that I would recommend.
Last minute decision
We decided on a night away at a spa at the last minute and I had visited the Whoop for a drink a few weeks ago.
Very pleasant staff and a great pool and gym, which guests can use although it is actually a separate Country Club. They had no receptionist at the time of our stay so were not answering the phone at all. This meant we booked online and got a good discount - our only problem in not speaking to staff was that we got a small twin room when we expected a double - the manager's response "It's the internet - work it out!" was honest if a bit blunt - we worked it out and pushed the beds together. The food was very good and the waiting staff very attentive - there was a sense that they were understaffed. All in all a great visit and we would go again
