Great accommodation & even better food

Stopped for 1 night with another couple enroute to Suffolk.

Arrived around 5pm and received a friendly welcome and was shown our executive room which was large, very comfortable and nicely furnished. We had an evening meal and the choices and quality of food was excellent as was the service. You are asked to pre order breakfast which I'm not too keen on but understand why they do it, you can have continental, sandwiches or full English, there is an self serve area for juice, cereals, yogurts & hot drinks this was the only negative about the stay, When we went to breakfast at 8:30 ish there was 1 yogurt, no orange juice and no coffee and we had to ask for it to be replenished which took a while which was a shame as the quality of food was good. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again if in the area.

Amazing out of the way experience

We were amazed at the size of this pub which was in the middle of nowhere.

The accommodation block and rooms were brilliant and the attached pub was fantastic, so many different rooms to eat in and the food was very good value for money. Certainly recommend it if you are in the area or just passing by, a real find.
