Reviews - Demetra Resort

CONTRADA FORGIA, AGRIGENTO, 92100
The charming hotel Demetra Resort enjoys a privileged location, just a stone's throw away from the Valley of the Temples Archaeological Park. It overlooks the Valley of the Temples and the town of Agrigento, which is only a few kilometres away. The beach can be reached within a short stroll; the town of San Leone with its seaside promenade is just a short drive away.Surrounded by delightful gardens, the hotel is set in an old country house carefully restored to its original splendour and converted into a lovely hotel. The spacious rooms are cosy and comfortable and create a home away from home atmosphere. They are equipped with complimentary wireless internet access and enjoy marvellous garden views. Guests can savour local dishes and a wide variety of wines in the on-site restaurant. This hotel is a wonderful choice for guests looking for a tranquil and rural place, yet still close to the beach.

The hotel is fine for a one night stay when visiting the temples. The restaurant was not open in the evening which meant we had to drive into town to eat but the breakfast in the morning was good.
