Great Value
Excellent hotel and great value for money. Only real issue we had with the room we had was the shower. I stand about 5'8" and the shower was too low even for me. I dread to think what it would be like for someone at 6'. Apart from that The Mill was excellent. Made use of the sauna and swimming pool and was impressed with both. Plenty of choices for food at reasonable prices and the bar wasn't overly priced like most hotels I've stayed in. All in all a great hotel which I would recommend without doubt.

Pleasant hotel, food good don't like shared bread sticks at breakfast. Bread handled by other guests
Waiting staff preparing toast wore white gloves. However, the basket with bread sticks was left open for other guests to handle. Saw one guest cut bread stick in half and return unwanted half to the basket. He did not use a napkin to handle the bread he just used his hands ! Not good enough. Parking tight, uneven car park surface difficult for people who are unsteady on feet. I would stay here again but wouldn't be my first choice.

The mill hotel is a great place to stay. It's a 5 minute walk into the centre. The meal on the reasurant cruiser is a must do and the breakfast is great too. An all round good place to stay.

Girls having fun!
We enjoyed our weekend in the Mill Hotel.
Not an easy place to find with the one way system. Hotel was very hot and noisy in the evening.
We only had breakfast which was average. Continental Breakfast selection poor.
The Canal looked really dirty.
I would be inclined to stay in a hotel nearer Chester.

Will be coming back!
Excellent location, just a wander along the canal into town.Rooms clean comfortable and spacious, staff very friendly and polite . M partner enjoyed a massage ( which he would recommend ) while I spent time in the pool. I would probably of had my hair done ..... but I didn't see any one ( staff or customers ) in the salon during my stay - which put me off!! We are going back to do the boat cruise and dinner over the Christmas period.

Tired and water stained room from leak, and a noisy boiler.
The room we stayed in had a noisy boiler which kept us awake all night, there had also been a leak at one time and the stains could be seen on the ceiling and carpet. Room needs updating. I complained in the morning about the noise and was told they would check it out, would have been nice if they had offered us some sort of compensation, as what I paid for the room was not worth it. Pool was nice, but poor lighting in the jaquzzi area. Not worth the money.
