avoid at all costs
This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival outside looked run down reception was better so was hopeful rooms would be nice as I was with the family. Car park was a joke three spaces if to could call them that around the back. As we stayed 2 nights took car out the second day then couldn't get back in the car park so had to pay 6 pounds in a car park nearby. Rooms were very basic bedding all bobbly needs replacing and cubby hole caravan plastic bathroom toilet and shower absolutely ridiculous overall room dirty bits on floor walls grubby ect. Breakfast was ok thought it would be worse to be honest. Owner very rude and he messed up our booking had to move rooms the second night as he gave us the wrong room apparently. So had to get travel cot down then up again loads of messing about basically and extremely overpriced will never go back again

Honest review
Our first room was good but has a bathroom that was tiny I mean tiny, and not enough beds so we were moved to a bigger room and it had enough beds at least but the bathroom was like a porterloo was tiny our shower was only seperated from the loo by a shower curtain the loo was in the shower was by no means suitable for a single person let alone a family with young children like I had, there was no on site resterant as stated and on bar was closed so we had to go out we wanted these things to save us going out with young children. The parking was terrible my hubby was worried sick all night over where it was parked supposed to be secure parking also, the room and building was very run Down needs decorated nd didn't like being in a completely different building we has to exit the hotel to get to our room, how ever the beds were so comfortable bedding was clean and the breakfast was very very good and the man on the desk was very very helpful it has the potential to be a good place to stay if alterations are made.

stay here at your childrens peril
Please do not stay at this hotel if you have your family with you. It is unclean, no offer of a drink in the afternoon or evening, opposite a car wash, wires hanging from walls etc.etc. safe to say I will never return and will not be using late rooms with confidence in the near future

on arriving at hotel we were shown to our room only to find someone`s underwear lying on the floor from a previous visit . after informing manager we were given another room which was a little cleaner but to call it en-suite was laughable as you could hardly turn around such was the size of the bathroom .overall , very dissapointed.

Room tired, food good, area hotel in is poor on suite poor.
The receptionist is very good, the area is poor and tired. The room was ok, clean but again very tired. The on suite is very small and poor. The breakfast was good. The area that the hotel is in isn't the best.

Family break
On arrival first impressions were limited parking to the front and rear entrances. The receptionist was friendly enough. Our room was on the 1st floor which made it difficult as we had 2 children 1 who was in a pram. We also asked that a travel cot could be in our room which one was not provided, luckily we brought one with us! The carpet in the room had not been hoovered as it had hairs on it. The bathroom was more like a caravan toilet not an ensuit. We also found a pubic hair on one of the pillows on the bed. Breakfast was not bad but could have been given a choice rather than it being given to us on a plate and thought it was rushed, they could have waited for us to have finished what we was eating.

Although we managed it would have been useful to have a hand towel as well as the bath towels.
The manager was very receptive and responsive to any queries we had in a helpful manner.

not happy
Arrived around 8:30pm, I had my 20month old son with me, they couldn't find my booking paperwork, took them about half an hour to find it. They were going to charge me £40 for another room eventhough I had already payed and booked one. Then they told me the travel cot I requested had been given to another family. They only have one cot and one highchair at this hotel which is ridiculous! Took my son about two hours to fall asleep in the bed with me as his was so used to his cot. The shower and toilet is tiny, it is basically in a cupboard in the bedroom. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all.

Very clean and comfortable any problems dealt with quickly, only problem, the flyover just at the front of the hotel, so remember to take earplugs.
