One to Avoid
Very disappointed with this hotel, views of a brick wall, no lift, cracked tiles in bathroom, broken sink which harboured all kinds of bacteria, stinky drains. In fact I can't think why we stayed at all. We have used Travel Lodge all over the UK and have never found cause to complain before.

overnight stay with 2 young grandchildren
The family room was pleasant and the slide out bed for the 2nd child was a good idea. We had to make up the childrens beds but that was OK. The tea/coffee facilities were basic, with two odd mugs and no cups or beakers for children. Although the brochure says various toiletries were available to buy at reception, there were none available.

Most comfortable stay of our visit
We spent a few very pleasant days in Southern Ireland, and the Travel Lodge in Waterford gave us the best night's sleep of all. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was clean and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and friendly, giving us a warm welcome. We can certainly recommend the whole experience. Thank you.

Not up to standard
Room advertised as Euros160 down to 43. You expect a good room, not a dump. It is a dump, dirty, uncomfortable old beds, very poorly decorated, definitely not worth more than 43.

Typical Travelodge
Very helpful, friendy staff. Restaurant had burned down few weeks previously, so resorted to the next door McDonalds for btreakfast! Otherwise, as one would expect from a Travelodge
