100% would recommend it to a friend
wonderful accomodation with a very warm welcome
I was staying at The Flatt's as I am on a course to learn dog grooming at Rimmington.
The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and everything worked , the shower was brilliant, a decent size kettle was provided as well as a hairdryer - the first thing Marion did each evening was hand me a little jug of fresh milk to take to my room so I could have a coffee - I hate those cartons of uht milk so massive thumbs up for that little thoughtful touch ..
Marion is so friendly and welcoming which was perfect for me as a lone female traveller and over an outstandingly well cooked breakfast with a cafetiere of fresh coffee we would have a nice chat. One evening I went the two minutes walk up the hill to the Emmott Arms pub, where again I got a very friendly welcome and a tasty meal. Highly recommended. On my first morning I asked Marion if she knew where my grooming school was as I didn't want to put full trust in my sat nav as it seems to love the tiny country hilly roads and my fiat 500 doesn't. When I came down stairs to set off Marion presented me with a list of directions and landmarks which took me straight to school without a hitch.. The survey asks if I would go back...I am on a flexible 24 day course, Marion and I stood in her kitchen with her lap top and booked me in for numerous two night stays between now and mid November...I am delighted I am going back I have found a treasure in Marion and Rye Flatt Farm.
