A Great Little Stopover
I had read the reviews of others before booking Brookfield House. We were only stopping one night, but at the end of a busy week wanted something comfy and clean. Well, we were certainly not disappointed. Brookfield House was spotless. We were greeted at the door and shown to our room. The en-suite was gleaming. The bed was very comfy. We were given a map of the area and were able to walk into town in approx. 8 mins. The breakfast was absolutely 1st class and piping hot. There was also a selection of cereals, along with a couple of fruit juices, yoghurts and fruit. It certainly set us up for the day. If in the area again, we would definitely stop here again.

I would recommend or stay again
Place is a convenient location, close enough to walk to town and right next to a big Tesco if you need anything. The room and bathroom were clean and in great condition. The bedding was a quality duvet and the shower had enough pressure and controllable temperature. The breakfast was quite good, not the best I've ever had but decent sausage/bacon so no skimping on ingredients. It's a bit pricey but if you want a central location probably worth it.

Excellent place to stay
Ian is a lovely host, very helpful and willing to accommodate my needs.
Breakfast was excellent, with a good range of food.
I would heartily recommend this B&B to anyone; in fact, I did when I was waiting for a taxi outside the B&B the next morning!

Ideal overnight stay
Location excellent for town centre. Very clean bathroom with good fittings. Room adequate but not large; tight space for opening suitcase etc. Staff very friendly and helpful.
