Not for me.
Great view, great for parking, great facilities, the room was nice and clean but you could hear your neighbours in the rooms next door. The price of food and drink I thought was on the high side.

Good, but not quite as good as they think they are!
This is a really pleasant hotel to stay at. It's in a beautiful setting and is well designed. You can take a stroll around a lake or use the spa and leisure facilities, and there are three options for food - the hotel restaurant, a fairly extensive room service menu (no tray charge but each item costs more than elsewhere so they cover it that way), and a pub. I've tried room service and the pub and would recommend the pub as the better option. Room service is prompt with courteous service and piping hot food, but I think they oversell the food somewhat! For example 'seasoned chips' at just under £4 (albeit that's on the room service menu) is factually correct but suggests in the diner's mind something a little better than bog-standard frozen chips, barely cooked, with salt already on them...
Rooms are large and some have patio doors onto a shared deck area overlooking the lake, or a balcony. They're nicely decorated and the beds are reasonably comfortable although not brilliant. The pillows are very thick but don't give enough so I ended up sleeping with my head on the edge of one to avoid getting a crick in my neck. The bathrooms are fairly basic but do the job. Attention to detail in the fitting is a bit lacking, for example lots of surplus grout smeared across the tiles.
All in all I would recommend staying here as it's a good, comfortable hotel with decent staff in a nice location, but don't expect a 5* luxurious experience. It's a decent 4* hotel which just needs to raise its game a fraction to become what it aspires to be.

You can't go wrong staying at the four pillars hotel cotswold park
This was a great hotel! Nice big rooms, gleamingly clean, friendly and efficient staff, in the wonderful surroundings of a water park, and to top it all at breakfast the best scrambled eggs we've ever had at an hotel, not solid and rubbery but creamy and delicious. We thought indicative of the whole outlook at the way this hotel is run. You just can't go wrong in choosing this hotel. Oh, one minor snag, it can be a long walk around corridors to your room.

Not very welcoming and felt very little when staff and other customers looked down upon us.

Room with a view
Stayed in room 224 on the first floor.
The room had a fabulous aspect over the lake which would have been helped if there were two comfy chairs instead of one.
One side of the bed had no bedside light but apart from these two points it was a great room because of the view.
The food in the bar was excellent and the breakast was very good too.

lovely location and grounds
The hotel is 4 star but I was disappointed by the rather basic furniture and whilst the bed was huge, the pillows were scruffy and flat. No warm cover if it had been cold. Had to park quite a long way from reception. Staff were friendly.
