Churston Court Inn
Good value, exceptional food.
Super place for a short break!
For the price we paid, this represented one of the best hotels we've stayed in.
Lovely secluded location and picturesque old manor house. The four poster bed was a bonus, a little on the soft side but very comfortable for a few nights indeed. The food in the restaurant also proved to be of a high standard, again relative to the price paid. This is one of a few places that we'd definitely revisit if we were in the area again
Great experience with added Spirit!!
Fantastic experience with a spine chilling experience in the back room!!...the temperature just dropped and was like ice...but not scarey.
Food including breakfast was excellent. Room was small and a little tired but overall great value for money and we will be back for a longer stay.
A beautiful area to explore. The hotel was a good place to explore from with its lovely surroundings
The only comment that I would make is about the breakfast.
There is a full list to choose from but you are only allowed one thing. E.g porridge but no eggs or kippers etc. My partner was looking forward to a choice. He likes to avoid bread but had toast on this occasion. They should make the menu clearer.
Staying near Brixham
Churston Court is ideally placed for a stay near Brixham and the Riviera
Beautiful period property, generous sized rooms and en-suite
Superb Stay, would highly recommend!
As a family we've been going to Churston for years to sit in the beer gardens on a suing afternoon with a cool drink, but have never stayed there.
As part of a planned trip we decided to stay for a night at churston inn and we were not disappointed. We stayed in Henry VIII room, a luscious four poster bed and luxurious bathroom. Will definitely be staying again, staff were very friendly and breakfast amazing, and quite obviously using locally sourced produce.
Unique and interesting experience
Very different but interesting hotel

Churston Court Inn
This was the site of a Mediaval court held by the local nobleman and the building dates back some 800 years.
Only small parts of it, of course, but the bu8ilding has 'just growed' in a charming and individual style - beams and dark woodwork everywhere, suits of armour, large portraits of kings and queens of England and a wonderful collection of huge ornate mirrors dotted through the complex. Four poster beds, of course, and a cuisine which can look much ritzier establishments in the face. Not just an in, an experieince.
Just the job.
