Excellent hotel

This is an excellent hotel with helpful staff, high standards of cleanliness and a huge car park.

As it is situated on the edge of town it is easy to find. This was my second visit and I will always go back if I need a hotel in the area.

Fantastic value for money

Really great place to stay at the last in minute.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was really great, I ate in the bar. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I felt relaxed and looked after.

Not in the Premier league

Through Laterooms, we booked two rooms in the hotel at a cost which approximated Premier Inn price brackets.

However, I have never stayed at a Premier Inn where the bed sagged and you could hear people talking in the next room (from before 6am on a Sunday!). We had not booked breakfast as our arrangements (taking our daughter to university for the first time) needed to be flexible. Having decided to take breakfast (even at £13.75 per person!) we arrived at 10 am, to be told that breakfasts were finished at 10 am, so we could not have any. Confusingly, someone in what appeared to be a management capacity overruled the dining room staff, telling us we could have breakfast after all. Not wishing to be served by reluctant staff, we declined the offer. On checking out, we were surprised that the receptionist did not ask us if we had enjoyed our stay. I wish she had.
