Comfortable and convenient
A pleasant stay with good parking and easy access to the city and outlying areas.
Reasonable quality food and comfortable beds. My only negative was that food ordered via room service needed to be paid for on the spot, when I had assumed (it may be wise to assume nothing), that it would be charged to the room and paid for during checkout.
Single night stay 29/6/16
Comfortable room, decent restaurant, free car park, good central location off Great Western Road.
The room was clean and comfortable and with very good facilities.
It was really great that they were able to let us have a disabled friendly room since it made our stay a lot easier. he hotel is in a good location and parking is easy.We have stayed at the Pond before and will do so again.
Great base for Glasgow tour and West Highland Way
Short walk to hyland station great for town, short walk other direction to anniesland put you on line for Milngavie.
Accommodation fine, staff friendly and room quiet. Didn't eat/drink at premises because of itinerary. Parking fine also. 24 hr MandS garage outside and great pub/diner 1051 GWR across road. Area surrounded with tripadvisor rated eateries, great hotel, great spot.
Glasgow Pond Hotel
Very satisfied for 1 night stay to see josh groben, heard traffic most of night, however no sound heard from neighbouring rooms, cannot complain due to good deal offered but may be helpful to be able to choose a quieter room.
Glasgow Pond Hotel
Good for short trips to Glasgow and position of hotel is excellent for transport into City Centre.
Staff very nice and polite.
Outside is scruffy, internal communal areas looked good but we didn't use them.
Bathroom clean and relatively new. Bedroom walls badly scuffed, bedroom small for three people, only one chair, cobwebs reported and not removed. Carpet not hoovered every day. Will not stay there again. Breakfast was £10 extra per head so we didn't eat there.
Everything about the hotel was fine except the loud music that was on to about 1 in the morning so hardly got any sleep
