Overall good

We had to wait quite a while in reception to check in but apart from that everything else was fine.

Cups could have been glass!

One night stand

Room was clean and comfy.

Nice view. Great location for sight seeing or shopping. Very reasonable price. Only issue was with a dodgy keycard but that was sorted by the helpful staff. Plenty of options for dinner and breakfast nearby. Be sure to look into parking facilities. Theatre Royal car park is pay on exit but more expensive than pay as you go across the road. Theatre car park also has security cameras and is manned during the day.

Rough

No cooked breakfast on offer.

All there was was an overpriced "Breakfast" box which resembled a third rate bag of sweets with little genuine nutritional value. Noisy place with uncontrolled drunken "laddettes" running in the corridors shouting and "singing" . Very little internal and external insulation against noise. No ear plugs available from reception. No confidence that those in charge of the hotel were equipped/trained to deal with disruptive guests, despite informing me that this was a city centre location prone to attracting irresponsible drunken groups. Too bad this information wasn't noted on the Travelodge website. Good sized bathroom with disabled facilities, but the emergency help cord was disconnected. Just as well I'm not disabled. Towels didn't appear to have been changed from the previous unfortunate occupants. Finding reasonably priced parking was a problem - none on site. Difficult to contact the hotel by phone directly. The accommodation might be suitable for those completely stunned returning from an evening of excessive drinking, drug taking and fighting.
