Very central with parking.
It is central, so be careful what time of day you arrive, to avoid the traffic. The underground parking is limited, as is the outside car park. So get there in time to get a place. Well positioned, good location, and you should find local restaurants / pubs to dine.

Helpful desk staff and excellent cleaning team. Parking on site (although an extra cost) and a 5 min walk to a local supermarket.

clean
The room was very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cold and tasted horrible ( I only had two cups of coffee) so go somewhere else for your food , the breakfast room looked a bit messy

Budget version of Travelodge
I didn't realise that Travelodge did extra budget hotels, but this one obviously is. The room was really small, no clock and there were really flimsy plastic cups instead of glasses and no biscuits! That said, clean and acceptable bed. Wasn't particularly cheap though.

So close to getting everything right !
Helpful staff, clean room, peaceful stay, takeaway function was a masterstroke, evening food very good, unfortunately the kitchen staff for evening meals and break we're leagues apart, breakfast was very poor, and at £7.50 was a very expensive beans on toast (as what it turned out to be) , however the evening meals were excellent and good value for money, add how close it is to the trainstation and city centre, would and will use again I imagine

not bad..
Much as you'd expect from any Travelodge, central location, basic room and few luxuries. Great for a weekend break on a tight budget, but the additional fee of £10 per person to check in an hour early was an unpleasant surprise, waiting for two hours to check in in the lobby/cafe/bar area with only the radio for company wasn't great fun either. All in all if you want a cheap no-frills hotel for a day or two, then this is fine, but if you want more on the side of luxury, obviously you should look elsewhere.
