The Hood Arms was excellent in every way, the food we had in the evening was first class.
I booked a night away because it was my husbands birthday and our anniversary, I had never stayed at the inn before and I was so pleased I had booked. The room was excellent with a lovely four poster bed so clean and comfortable.
We had a meal in the evening which was outstanding.
Everyone was so friendly the chefs said good night as they left. Breakfast was equally as good. We had a great weekend and I would definitely stay again.

Warm & Welcoming
A gem of a pub/hotel....I had a choice of a few nearby establishments when making the booking, and am so glad I chose The Hood Arms. I was made to feel very welcome in the bar area - sometimes a problem as a female travelling alone. The owner came and introduced himself and included me in the conversation. The food was delicious and the breakfast was very enjoyable. I would def. stay here again.

country break
Nice country pub, good evening meal and great breakfast. Ninty five pounds for the room we had was a little rich.
