Would be very happy to stay here again
Warm welcome, comfortable bed & excellent food especially the Chef''s Pie! The restaurant was very busy but nothing was too much trouble for the staff despite the pressure.

Superb service from very polite & attentive staff all round. Food was very nice and good value, Room had everything needed and for the money was better than a chain hotel as the breakfast was cooked to order and again very nice. The second time I've stayed here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

good location excellent value great for young children
Stayed with my two grandsons aged 2 and 5, good location for trip to longleat halloween spectacular. Friendly staff. Room was oak room, was good size and nice and warm and clean. Particulary liked easy access to free parking and separate entrance so didnt have to go in through the pub or restaurant with the children. Loved the little pkay area at the rear enclosed and safe foir toddlers.

Ideal
This is exactly what one looks for-pleasant service, good pub food, excellent accommodation- a large room, almost a suite and a very comfortable bed- and breakfast cooked fresh for you rather than served from the dreaded hot buffet. And only a few minutes from the A303 for the weary travveller
