Our aim at Steps Farmhouse is to provide our guests with good quality, comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation with a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. All bedrooms are ensuite and situated in barn conversions with individual entrances and off road parking. A traditional 16th century former farmhouse offering wonderful Exmoor bed and breakfast accommodation with off road parking, near Minehead, nestling between Exmoor and the Quantock Hills. Ideally situated for fishing, golfing, cycling or exploring the backwaters of the West Somerset coastline. Set in a rural location on the A39, 3 miles from Dunster and 5 miles from Minehead. The coast is 2 miles away at Blue Anchor Bay and the historic port of Watchet is 3 miles away. The West Somerset Railway runs close by with stations at Blue Anchor and Washford which is also home to the railway museum. Cosy friendly B & B
Thank you to the proprietors of Steps Farmhouse for making our stay perfect. The breakfast is excellent and can be tailored made to suit your needs. Perfect for exploring the local area being surrounded by beautiful countryside and only a short drive to the coast. We would certainly consider going to stay at Steps Farmhouse when we are next in Somerset.

Perfect for a mini break
I booked this B&B as a last minute break for my son and I. We had the twin room which was upstairs in a converted barn - the beams and stone walls gave it real character. The room was large and very well furnished, the bathroom was spotless with a lovely shower and the beds were really comfy. We had a balcony area which was a real sun trap and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was great, with lots of choice - fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, choice of cereals, toast, several jams and of course a full English! The bacon and sausages were delicious, really top quality and cooked to perfection. No greasy bangers here! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and I thoroughly recommend Steps Farmhouse for anyone thinking of visiting the area. Dunster castle is 5 minutes away, as is the West Somerset Railway, and Minehead is nice for the kids. Lynton and Lynmouth are 16 miles away and are a must.
