100% would recommend it to a friend
Very interesting house with lots of period features but also homely, warm feel.
Wonderful place to stay, relax and see Exmoor
It was a last minute stay on a Friday night.
I only need to say that before we'd even had breakfast we asked if our room was available for the Saturday night. Unfortunately it wasn't. Room was spotless and comfortable and well furnished. Bathroom was spacious and lovely. Toiletries very posh. Breakfast was amazing and we wished we'd had more room for more courses. We ate in Exford which was only a short walk away. Bring a torch.
As we couldn't stay the second night we booked for two nights in two weeks time. Looking forward to it already.
A quiet,well-appointed family house with large lounge/ dining area pleasantly furnished and tastefully decorated.
The proprietors remained in the background, although readily available. In a quiet village, this accommodation would surely appeal to any who sought a tranquil arbour away from the hustle and bustle of the World, yet with easy access to two Pubs in the village offering quality meals and pleasant ambience. Would suit walkers.
Summer break 2014
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel.
The room was clean and spacious, although we didn't have the best view out of the window - though this didn't bother us as we didn't spend an awful lot of time in our room. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and a good selection to choose from. I would definitely visit this hotel again.
Perfect Rural Retreat
Edgcott House was beautiful, full of character and the perfect location for a quiet weekend away.
We received a warm welcome and that friendliness continued throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing, great selection and wonderfully presented. Would definitely recommend
Generally very good
The bed was only a standard double at best, most places offer at least a kingsize.
The best breakfast you will ever find.
