Although I only stayed for 1 night, I was made to feel very welcome, the property is set in a quiet location, very good value and the morning breakfast was excellent.

A real gem!

A great quiet relaxing retreat with a fantastic homely welcome.

The room, with your own TV, and bathroom facilities were excellent. The choice at breakfast was good, especially the traditional English breakfast - cooked well and served on warm plates. A place to return to!

Great rural location

If you like peace and quiet, this is a great rural location away from the hustle and bustle - loved the breakfast

Brilliant stay very welcoming even at 9:30 at night, best night sleep I've had in years.

Highly recommend high orchard, the breakfast kept me satisfied all day. If your looking to get away for a quiet weekend this is most definitely the place to go (no phone signal no mobile network)

it is a little gem of a place, Margaret and husband are nice hosts, breakfast is well the best, the village pub is welcoming and serves nice food as well, the view from the room we stayed in was fantastic so no complaints at all really we used it as a stop over to cornwall to break up the drive down from the north.

nothing to say bad about the whole experience.

Lovely little B and B

Lovely place to stay, we used it breaking the journey to Cornwall but would be an good choice for exploring the quantocks.

A little remote but that meant a very peaceful nights sleep. Beautiful views and breakfast very good. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner who booked an evening meal for us at the nearby pub.

Very tranquil setting

If you're looking for a little piece of tranquility then head for this B&B.

If you're a food lover, even more so as the cooked breakfast Margaret makes, will keep your taste buds and stomach satisfied until well into mid-afternoon. Had a wonderful stay here, so much so, I slept through my usual waking time. Wonderful hosts and would definitely stay again.

Nice little bnb

This is a lovely little bed and breakfast, situated in the middle of the countryside.

I stayed here for ironman training so didn't get to enjoy nature as much as I had liked.

I did not have an opportunity to try the land lady's breakfast (as I brought my own food, having to be up early in the morning!).

The room was clean and the family were friendly.

I would stay here again.
