3Self Classified Farmhouse Ratings explained
Barn Park Farm, Stockland Hill, Near Stockland, Honiton, EX14 9JA
Welcome to Barn Park Farm - a genuine UK beef farm set in 150 acres on Stockland Hill, amid the picturesque Blackdown Hills in Devon - an area of outstanding natural beauty, where the family have farmed for generations. The charming farmhouse dates back to the 1800's and now offers 4 Star bed and breakfast accommodation. It combines olde worlde character, beamed ceilings and an inglenook fireplace with a comfortable, happy atmosphere. Barn Park Farm is ideally located between Honiton and Axminster and just 20 minutes drive from Lyme Regis. We are also perfectly placed for badger watching, walking, horse or bike riding, sea fishing, sailing or exploring historic houses and National Trust gardens. Children and well behaved pets welcome. Ample off road parking. Breakfast included.

Fantastic - home from home.
I arrived late after a long day and was met with a lovely welcome and a nice hot pot of coffee. I travel a lot and sometimes I want to stay somewhere where you are treated to home comforts. You definately get this at Barn Park. Dot serves up a huge breakfast that sets you up for the day. I will stay here again as I'm on business in the South West most weeks. The only issue is that there are rarely any vacancies as the place is so popular!

Good B&B
A lovely B&B lady, Pam was a pleasure to meet. Easy to find, comfortable, clean and pleasant.
You should be aware breakfast is only from 8 to 8.30 so if you have a late night there's no lie in. Also, no key for late return so you have to wake Pam, bit of a guilt trip although she was very nice about it. Great breakfast, couldn't fault, even had wild mushrooms. Nice old farmhouse, shame about the pvc replacement windows. Lovely garden, good shower. Bit cold at night with no Duvet, just bedcover. Would recommend. Please note that booking through Late Rooms means you have to pay cash when you are there. Not told this, we had to drive to Honiton to get cash but Pam was very trusting! Book well in advance as always busy.

Absolute gem
A lovely friendly B&B, easy to find if you ignore sat nav. Easy parking, beautiful rooms with freeview tv and free wifi. Oozing olde worde character with exposed beams and wood burner. Comfy beds, hospitality tray and the quiet of the countryside. Close to Honiton and villages down to the coast. Owners could not be more helpful with local knowledge.
