Reviews - Brimpts Barn Farm

3Self Classified Farmhouse Ratings explained
Brimpts Farm, Dartmeet, , Yelverton, PL20 6SG
Brimpts is a 3 star Duchy of Cornwall upland beef farm set right in the middle of Dartmoor National Park, hosting a flourishing traditional tea room, bed & breakfast / self catering accommodation block (complete with hot-tub and sauna) and a charming medium sized conference and function suite With stunning views of the impressive and imposing Yar Tor, the farm is rich in natural splendour and local folklore. Ideally located for a long weekend break, there are a range of activities within walking distance, from various farm walks and trails to horse riding, climbing, abseiling or mountain biking. We are also well placed for the Tin Mine Trail if you are interested in the history of the area, or Letterboxing if you fancy a challenge! Brimpts is also well placed for exploring the area, being just 20 minutes drive from the old market towns of Tavistock and Ashburton, the former of which won market town of the year in 2006. There are also 3 National Trust proprieties on the periphery of the moor within 30 minutes drive. Free parking. Breakfasts made to order with fresh local produce. Wireless internet and digital TV in the lounge. Games room with pool table and table tennis.
