Great night and great accomodation

Mark and Christina work tirelessly to make your stay enjoyable.

Room was beautiful, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Food locally sourced and excellently cooked and presented. Real ale on draught. Thoroughly recommended

Never going again - even if it was free

Basically a lot of small niggly problems, hook on back of bathroom door fell off, doors to wardrobe almost impossible to open.

Then you come to the food, now the manager explained that he'd had some trouble, as we were leaving. On the night it was chaotic, the staff didn't seem to know who to serve in the morning it was even worse. We were one out of 4 sets of people eating breakfast and every group of us had something wrong. There was no vegetarian option, you could only have either orange juice or a hot drink not both. They don't even offer peppermint tea and were very reluctant to do hot chocolate. The toast was over done and crispy now I don't want it to be soggy of course but I don't expect it to snap when buttering. I think the best comment related the service to a 1970's sitcom in Torquay.

nice room with great bed, veiw over fields was good

our room was over kitchen, so very noisy air extraction fan out side our window made our stay restless and off putting.

even though our window was closed you can hear it over the tv. would stay again if in different room or if you get the fan fixed

Beautifully furnished downstairs, and whilst the bedroom was very clean and adequately furnished, it was a little tired.

Our room was over the kitchen and a noisy extractor fan but thankfully this was switched off overnight.

The dining room wasn't very welcoming for breakfast but the quality of our breakfast more than made up for it. Our 'full English' was beautifully cooked and and presented and tasted amazing!

Small room...

It was a v compact bedroom but sufficient for an overnight stay.

Nice view from window of rolling countryside. Bed nice and comfortable. Didn't sleep well as it was very hot and stuffy in room. No hair dryer which was much missed. Can't be 4 star. Checkout 10.30am Sunday morning a bit early.. We were a very few minutes after and missed the checkout 'window' so passed our key to a lovely cleaning lady as everywhere was locked. We had been to a concert so just needed a bed. Wouldn't stay for more than one night but it did the job.

Restaurant with Rooms.

Nice place, but the bar area was so dark I couldn't read the menu properly, and then couldn't read my paper at all !.

Really nice staff and the room was nice. incredible view from the room.

olive mill

have stayed here before, staff are really friendly and helpful, rooms are clean but no room for a chair .although we did have a balcony with two chairs but it was too wet to use them, cleanliness was great but the bed was small but it was comfortable otherwise. If you cannot mamage stairs they have a disabled room on the restaurant floor and a lift to the bar.The food is very good.
