Nice room and the food was excellent
Great hotel throughout
I stayed for 5 nights while in the area on business.
I was given a room in the annex at the back of the carpark and found the room to be very spacious and perfect for what I needed (space to work and relax). The evening meals were really exceptional (fresh ingredients, good menu choices) and the service was really first class. Will definitely return to the Yeovil Court Hotel when next in the area for work.
Short stay Yeovil
Family run business with the manager offering an excellent personal touch.
Would and will be staying here again. Thank you Brian.
In Yeovil for a wedding reception - Yeovil Court read well in its reviews.
Greeted warmly on arrival.
Quite spacious bedroom with large bed, TV and tea and coffee facilities. Excellent breakfast.
It took a while for someone to arrive at reception but when a lady turned up she was friendly enough and checking in went smoothly.
We were not shown to our room and there was no offer of help with luggage. Room was OK - very comfortable beds. Shower was leaking and bathroom could have done with updating. Lack of privacy issue - our window ended at knee height and faced onto the car park. Most of the time we were in our room there was a car parked right outside our window so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time even in the day time if we were in the room. Not enough milk for tea and coffee but when phoned and requested some it arrived quickly. Would not want to stay here for an extended period but fine for a one night stop over.
Perfect little retreat.
We were visiting family for the first time and had to find somewhere last minute.
Had a good rating and was competitively priced so thought we would give it a go. Glad we did. Beautiful little hotel, well equipped bar, tidy rooms, quiet in the room annexe where we stayed with even a little friendly horse over the back field. Would recommend and stay again. Staff most polite and friendly.
The only down side was the lock to the room's door.
It wasn't a normal mecanism where you close the door then lock it outside. You had to lock the door by pushing a button and turning the handle on the inside of the room then pull it closed. if you werent aware you had to push the putton you couldnt lock the door from the outside. Very frustrating as there were no instructions on the inside of the door explaining how to lock it.
Apart from that it was a nice pleasant hotel with very friendly staff and good service.
2nd visit to this hotel.
Comvenient for National Trust properties nearby, not far from Street Village, Glastonbury, Wells. Quiet location on outskirts of Yeovil, warm friendly team, good food and accommodation. Can thoroughly recommend.
