The Red House Hotel issituated together in the leafy lanes of Chelston, a charming and tranquil area of Torquay providing village shops and identified by its large red-stone Victorian villas. The Red House Hotel is a small, comfortable and well-appointed family hotel. Friendly staff will greet you on arrival, and throughout your stay we will be on hand to help you enjoy your time with us. All bedrooms are en-suite and include televisions and early morning tea tray. Guests staying at the hotel are welcome to enjoy our indoor and outdoor leisure facilities. redhouse
Booked for use of indoor pool for my young children but pool seemed to be been used by people not staying in hotel or private lessons.Stayed in room 11 which was at top of property even with heating always seemed cold.TV had poor selection only about 6 channels. Was there for 2 nights but never got room cleaned!! Food was ok.Would not stay there again!!

ManagementResponse

Apologies your stay was not as enjoyable as anticipated, had we been made aware of your feedback as requested on checkout or during your stay we would have tried to rectify these problems for you. We accept the pool was rather busy, as like most local hotels in the area we do allow non-residents to use the facilities. We take on board your comments and the issues with room 11 are now being addressed. Thank you.

Walking stopover
Stopped at the redhouse after having walked along the coastal path, the welcome of the lovely warm swimming pool and brilliantly hot Jacuzzi was just what was required. The staff were brilliant the receptionist took the time to give me a personal tour of the hotel facilities. The room was clean and functional and the bed very comfortable. Will stay again if down that way.

nice hotel
Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff and good food. Nice walk to the beach and the town, the decoration is old fashioned but this did not bother us. It was also nice to have the use of the leisure facilities in a small hotel.
