About the hotel
Perched on the Cornish cliffs, this luxury family seaside hotel offers stunning views across Mounts Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. All our public rooms have a sunny, welcoming feel, whilst the bedrooms feature comfy beds and spectacular views. Extensive gardens and our well-equipped leisure centre offer plenty to occupy your time without the need to leave the hotel.
Children are well catered for with the Blue Room, crèche and outside play area. Burn off some energy on our resurfaced tennis court, challenge your children to a game of football on our sports field, swim in our year round indoor pool (or our seasonal outdoor pool), or work out in our fully equipped gym. Our younger guests have a playground with a wooden climbing frame, swings and a slide. Just five minutes away, you can walk down to our very own beach at Polurrian Cove. Set in 12 acres of mature, landscaped gardens overlooking the sea, the grounds include sloping lawns and smaller level areas in which to stroll or to simply sit and take in the sensational views. The hotel's west-facing aspect means you may well get the chance to watch the spectacle of the sun sinking slowly into the sea. Focusing on families, we offer high tea for children as well as an all-day children's menu. Choose from our Vista menu for an informal meal or an early dinner in the restaurant for the whole family. Our extensive wine list and well-stocked bar offer the perfect accompaniment to any dish. The Polurrian Bay Hotel offers a warm welcome to families and children of all ages. We understand parents don't want to compromise on quality just because they are travelling with children.

the great escape!
Had a great stay away from the rat race.
We also took the chance to go down 'memory lane'as we met in Cornwall 51 years ago.It was nice being able to visit some old haunts and find things hadn't changed that much and the Polurrian Hotel was not only still there but had gone from strength to strength.A wonderful stay in a lovely friendly family hotel.
Views to die for . . . . . .
Rooms were what you'd expect - daily still & sparkling bottle water/tea, coffee & hot chocolate/bathrobes/huge bath towels etc.
etc. Upon booking we'd asked that, if possible, could we have a sea view. The Polurrian replied almost instantly to say that unfortunatley they had no sea views available. However, we were delighted when we arrives/were shown to our room to find that we had the best of both worlds - a land view from one side of the room and a beautiful sea view from the other (the views are breath taking) When we querried this with the reception they explained that they couldn't declare the room as being "a sea view room" because of the split aspect. Not many Hotels would be so honest.
