About the hotel
The Torrs is set in a secluded part of the town but within easy walk of the sea front and the town centre shops. Located on a hill it affords excellent views across the town and (from most rooms) the sea. It is family run by a young couple, Marie and Abu Kanu.
Children are most welcome, including larger families; a number of rooms have optional adjoining doors allowing them to be used as suites. Marie is a fully qualified NNEB nursery nurse and Abu is an experienced chef.

Nice hotel in a good location in Illfracombe.
Very welcoming and friendly staff.
Excellent overnight stop
Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff and a delicious breakfast.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Hotel not too big, not too small and a perfect distance from the town and the countryside in a quiet enough area. Only thing that did not work for us was tthe Wi-fi signal which was not very strong on this occasion and my phone could not pick it up - not a criticism, just an observation.
