About the hotel

On the outskirts of Yeovil, in scenic Somerset, the family-run Preston Hotel offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi and private parking. The Victorian hotel enjoys an elevated position and also has a traditional restaurant and bar. Westland Leisure Complex is just a five minute walk and YTFC very close by.

The spacious bedrooms at The Preston have private modern bathrooms with power showers and luxury toiletries. Rooms also feature a flat-screen TV, work station and tea/coffee facilities. The two restaurant areas boast original Victorian features; one of which can be used for private parties or meetings. The music-themed bar offers a range of West Country ciders, real ales and home-cooked food. A full English breakfast is also available. Please note, the restaurant is open Monday-Saturday evenings. We do not open at lunch times or on Sundays. Just a 15 minute walk from Yeovil town centre, Preston Hotel is a 30 minute drive from Dorchester. There is free on-site parking and the Jurassic Coast at Bridport is a 40 minute drive away.

Lovely stay

Was a bit apprehensive at the room being a chalet in the car park but I needn't have worried.

Lovely cosy room, very clean and with toiletries and drink making facilities. Had a lovely meal in the pub on arrival and breakfast was excellent

Enjoyable Stay

Was a bit apprehensive when shown to a chalet room at the back, but needn't have worried.

Room was basic but had a double and single bed, room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable so i slept soundly. Would stay there again!
