100% would recommend it to a friend
This is set in a lovely location, very peaceful.
Only had a two night stay, wished we could have had longer but we will be back. The cream tea on arrival was superb, the scones were delicious. This cottage has everything you need. Rosalind & Bob are great hosts. Will take up the option of using the lake for fishing next time. Only minor things were the signal strength of the wifi. Only had one bar at best which fluctuated in and out, and the tv set up. You do have to follow the instructions and will be fine if you do, but if you happen to hit the wrong button on the remote you could have a little fun getting the picture back.
We are delighted that you enjoyed your short stay with us.
There is a campaign for faster Broadband in rural areas such as Upottery and we do realise that our speeds are not what people may be used to. We have taken up Mobile Broadband in addition to our BT Broadband in an effort to improve the service that our guests receive. We very much look forward to welcoming you back some time in the future.
I booked this as a half way spot for myself and a friend to meet up.
I arrived and was met with a warm welcome and there was tea, coffee, pint of milk and homemade cake which was a nice touch. The accommodation was nicely presented, clean and well equipped. We did not have nice weather but the cottage was great as a base and I would highly recommend this place.
